Four people arrested in connection with the disappearance of a missing Hertfordshire farmer have now been re-arrested.

William ‘Bill’ Taylor was last seen at around 9pm on Sunday June 3 at his farm in Gosmore, North Hertfordshire.

Since going missing, he has turned 70 years old – a milestone birthday that he has not been able to celebrate with his family.

Three men, aged 18, 22 and 53 years old and a 52 year old woman, were arrested early Wednesday morning (29 November) on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. They remain in police custody.

The four people had previously been arrested on suspicion of murder, conspiracy to murder, arson, and conspiracy to commit arson in connection with a vehicle fire at William’s home. They had been released on bail.

Police initially arrested the three men and woman on suspicion of murder back in September.

Significant enquiries are continuing into the circumstances, Hertfordshire police said.
