Bays Curry McCowen (BCM) architectural division acted for Charlie Corbett at the very beginning of this concept, working on the planning permission for this change of use from redundant farm building to storage unit at Holden Barn in Cheriton.  It is one of only a few "rural" rather than city based facilities and attracted a great deal of interest with local farmers and businesses at the launch. One even became the first client on the spot!

The units are available now for business or private use and will offer 96 secure storage units of various sizes with unlimited access on a variety of rental periods to suit personal needs.

The Holden Farm Barn –Store is a franchise of Barn-Store UK which is already in the process of setting up similar change of use from farm buildings to storage around the country.www.barn-store.co.uk

James Fraser, Partner and Head of the Architectural Division at BCM, said "BCM are proud of their involvement in this re-birth for an otherwise redundant building."

Charlie Corbett said ' BCM have been involved with all our diversification projects, and I am delighted that we obtained planning permission for this one'
