A dispute over the tenancy of land has meant that around 70 pigs, goats and chickens face the risk of being 'disposed'.

Having been their home for two years, farm business Kew Little Pigs was told she must leave Stampwell Farm in Buckinghamshire in late February.

She said bailiffs have now repossessed the farm and given her until March 29, saying they will “dispose of” her things and animals if she does not find them a new home by then.

Olivia Mikhail, owner of the micropig breeding farm, has rented the land from Latimer Minster Church of England since 2014.

But the church says Miss Mikhail has breached the terms of her tenancy agreement and must go - a claim she denies.

Now Miss Mikhail, 35, faces a battle to rehome her animals but is adamant she wants to stay and that she has done nothing wrong.

'Completely un-Christian'

She stold Bucks Free Press: “They told us in a previous meeting that they would give us an 18 month exit strategy and after that gave us only three months, in the middle of winter.

“We have tried to mediate with them, we have tried to write to them, tried to have meetings with them – nothing has worked.

“Their behaviour is completely un-Christian – very, very aggressive and unnecessary.”

She claims the church is now allowing her 15 minutes per week of supervised visiting time to tend to her animals, adding that with almost 70 animals, this is “impossible”.

Miss Mikhail said she has now involved the Church of England, and is due to take part in a mediation with Latimer Minster on Friday.
