New Group Secretary in Llanwrst

Sioned Lloyd has this week started as the new NFU Cymru Group Secretary in Llanrwst, following the departure of Paul Williams who left to pursue his aspiration of running the family farm.

Sioned brings a wealth of experience to this role. Having previously worked as a Group Secretary in the Dolgellau NFU Cymru office for 15 years, she is well placed to deal with all insurance matters and farming related issues.

Welcoming Sioned to the position, Gwen Davies, Business Development Manager for NFU Cymru said, “I’d like to congratulate Sioned on her new appointment. She has a great understanding of the industry and has both the enthusiasm and drive to service our members and businesses. I’m sure Sioned will hit the ground running and fit straight in to this role.” Sioned comes from a farming family in Trawsfynnydd and now lives with her family near Bala.

Sioned Lloyd said, “I am very much looking forward to my new role here in Llanrwst. From my time at Dolgellau, I have seen the good work and support that the NFU offers its members and this is something I am keen to continue in the Llanrwst area. I look forward to meeting all of the local members over the next couple of months and assisting with the completion of the Single Farm Payments application forms.”
