HARDI Ltd has introduced a new 12-volt sprayer, the SWIFT, which is designed specifically for use with vehicles such as pick-up's or ATV bikes.
The SWIFT range is available with three different shapes of tank. All the tanks are moulded from transparent UV stabilised synthetic materials, and include a level indicator moulded into the tank wall. All tanks feature a built-in carry hand for ease of handling and the control unit is recessed into the tank for added protection.
SWIFT Compact
The SWIFT Compact is a general purpose version with a rectangular shaped tank and capacities of 25, 50 and 100 litres. A particular feature of this tank is its flat bottom design with an 'active' sump. When almost empty, to minimise tank residues the Active Bulging Base will pop-up in the middle directing any remaining liquid to the sump.
The Compact features a flow demand pump to preserve battery life and has a 6m hose with 700mm lance.
Swift BIKE
As its name suggests the SWIFT Bike is designed specifically for use with ATV or Quad bikes. It features a low profile wrap-around 75 litre tank, specially designed to fit on most rear carriers and not hinder the driver.
The SWIFT Bike comes with a 6 metre hose and 700mm lance, which is stored using a built-in hose-wrap on the back of the tank.
SWIFT Pro and Pro Bike
The SWIFT Pro features a wide low-profile tank with tie-straps, designed for use with either a pick-up (50 litre capacity) or quad bike (75 litre capacity).
The tank is fitted with built-in attachments for the 6 metre hose and the unit comes as standard with a bowl-type suction filter, control unit and pressure gauge.
The control unit incorporates a pressure regulator and a bye-pass return of liquid to the tank, which serves to also increase agitation and so reduce chemical sedimentation.
Prices for the new HARDI SWIFT range from £285 to £495.
