ProCam acquires ICM in South West

ProCam has acquired ICM (SW) Limited in the South West along with its sister company The Grain Maize Company Limited.

Both will come under ProCam chemega with ICM’s Barry Mills being appointed a director of ProCam chemega with the responsibility for running and developing the new regional business.

"Being part of ProCam will not only allow us to offer better services to growers in the years ahead, it also gives us the resources to strengthen our position in the area and develop some important new initiatives, as well." Barry Mills said.

ICM’s sister organisation, the Grain Maize Company, has already conducted work with the Samco system and this will be further developed under the ProCam umbrella.

ProCam UK’s managing director John Bianchi says the acquisition is an example of the company’s commitment to developing its ’Agronomy that Delivers’ approach.

"Our growth over the years has been the result of respecting the importance of individual, field-based agronomy expertise and maximising the impact of this on-farm through technical development, national buying power and a focus on individual customer needs.

"Barry and his team are a key element in ProCam UK being able to progress this philosophy in the future whilst providing the group with an important platform for further commercial growth in the South West."
