Johnsons of Old Hurst

We have been working the land for over one hundred years, refining and developing traditional farming methods to bring our customers the finest fresh meat and home grown products possible.

Underlying everything we do is a sense of tradition and wholesomeness that you will struggle to find elsewhere.

Our aim is to get people to understand where their food comes from so they can better appreciate what matters when it comes to taste, animal welfare, provenance and service.

The farm shop was first established in 2006 and expanded into the neighbouring barn in 2008. In 2012 the site expanded again and now extends to several of the converted farm buildings as well as a purpose built farm shop standing on the footprint of the old cattle shed.

We have a host of fresh and speciality foods, pet supplies and cookware. Have a look at our suppliers pages for a full list of stocked products.

Our covered courtyard is great for hosting our tasting days and 'meet our supplier' events whatever the weather.
