Full-time farm worker required

We are looking for a full-time farm worker to join our team on a busy livestock farm, primarily involved in the management of beef cattle and tractor driving.

Main responsibilities:

-daily care and welfare of beef cattle

-feeding, bedding, and health monitoring

-assisting with handling, weighing, and movement of stock

-maintaining high standards of animal husbandry and welfare

-general farm duties and machinery operation as required

-regular tractor driving, depending on experience

Who were looking for:

-experience working with livestock is desirable but not essential

-a good understanding of livestock welfare and husbandry

-the ability to work independently and as part of a team

-a strong work ethic and positive attitude

-livestock handling and machinery experience would be an advantage

-a full driving licence is essential
