the happy egg co., the UK’s largest free-range egg brand owned by Noble Foods, is set to return to TV screens with the launch of a £5.2million multi-channel campaign.

The new communications positioning kicks off with a brand new TV advertising creative which brings to life the happy egg co. mission to pass happiness from hen to home, farm to plate, one delicious egg at a time.

The 30-second ad tells the story of the contagious ‘chain of happiness’ from happy laying hens to the joy and delight of enjoying tasty eggs at home, whether it’s the perfect runny yolks oozing over avocado, or the iconic yellow of a fried egg on a Sunday morning. The advert twists and turns showing people in their kitchens, happily dancing away as they make and serve up their favourite happy egg dishes.

Geraldine Phillips, Marketing Director at the happy egg co., said: “Our new campaign and investment in marketing is the start of a wider strategic plan which we believe will help towards not only our own growth trajectory, but also add value and saliency to the category.

“Our communications previously focused on welfare, and whilst this is still at the top of our agenda, we wanted our new campaign to show the benefits of our welfare standards for the consumer.

“We’ve looked closely at how the yellow of the happy egg co. eggs bring joy to people and with our new communications positioning, we hero the moment you get the perfect yolk and bring to life our reasons to believe, welfare + taste = happiness.”

The campaign launched with the TV campaign on Sunday 16th October and will run across multiple channels heightening its presence at key seasonal times such as Christmas and Pancake Day.
