Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) have been praised in a new government report by Defra.
The incidents of illegal meat, animals and food being seized have dropped dramatically in the United Kingdom in the last year.
Credit has been given to public awareness of the penalties and the vigilance of the services.
