The trio from Anglesey visited the FIAMM Automotive stand at the four-day event to check out FIAMM's recently launched Portable Power Station.
If the mains supply goes down, batteries are flat or there is no electricity supply nearby, the rechargeable PPS provides instant power whenever and wherever it is needed.
"It's a single source of energy with a million uses", says FIAMM Automotive's Paul Drennan. "Engine starting from, its 12V DC output, is probably the most obvious one, but it can also power compressors, lighting, heating systems and computers. Selecting the 3, 6 or 9V DC output extends the applications to powering portable tools and charging batteries. Switch to the 230V AC output and there's plenty of power for both fixed and portable electrical equipment. It really is that versatile."
The unit is charged either from a normal domestic mains socket or from a cigarette lighter socket and can be easily carried to the point of use or simply kept in a vehicle for emergencies.
PPS is the latest addition to the growing range of FIAMM automotive and heavy duty batteries and ancillary products available to agricultural users through AGCO dealers nationwide.
