"We searched to find a high-power, easy to use and versatile electric fencing system to complement our range of animal care and management products" says Kim Petty, a director of KiwiKit and a dairy farmer. "In the Electropower range we feel we have secured technology, product quality, competitive pricing and excellent back up."
The Electro Power mains and battery powered temporary fencing system, with comprehensive range of accessories, is designed to meet the needs of today's farmer. The range has been developed to give superior performance and ease of use to optimise livestock control giving effective, and therefore profitable, management of grass.
All Electro Power fencers are rated in output joules, which is the real horsepower of the fencer. Mains fencers range in power from 1 to12 output joules, which equates to 1.5 to 18 stored joules and powers 10 to118 km of wire. 20 and 35 joule output models with remote controls are available for very large systems.

9 to 12 volt dry and wet cell battery models, capable of energising from 2 to10 kilometres of wire, complete the range. Solar power options are also available.
Effective livestock control requires at least 2,500 volts on the fence wire. Electro Power systems comfortably exceed this, ensuring adequate voltage capable of powering long distances even under extreme vegetation growth conditions.
The Electro Power range from KiwiKit includes a comprehensive system of fencing accessories. This includes fault finders, volt meters, fence testers, under ground lead-out cable, gate breaks, insulators, insultube, corner strainers, reels, polywire, electrified netting, tapes and electric ropes, plastic posts, spring steel pigtail posts, insulators for use on wooden posts and so on.
This range has grown over the years and reflects requests from working farmers, with designs evolving to meet the changing needs of the market.
Literature and information including tips on choosing, erecting and earthing your fencer is available on request from Kiwi-Kit.
