Agriculture Ministry acts against climate change

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has set up a steering board to deal with climate change-related matters.

The board's mission is designing and implementing action programmes against climate change in the agricultural and rural development sector.

The board consists of 14 members, who are top officials of the MARD, the Institute for Irrigation Sciences, the Planning Institute and the Institute for Agricultural Sciences of Vietnam. Its head is Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Dao Xuan Hoc.
