Another Gold Award for the 900 Vario

The fifth demopark was held from 17 to 19 June 2007 in Eisenach/Germany. AGCO/Fendt presented its product highlights at Europe's largest open-air exhibition for gardening, landscaping and municipal equipment. The Vario 900 model range was awarded a Gold Medal.

The demopark has become Europe's largest open-air exhibition with machine demonstrations for professional lawn care and outdoor municipal maintenance work. Every two years the latest machinery and implements for the municipal sector and professionals, who specialise in lawn care and landscaping or build and maintain sports facilities or outdoor paths, are presented together in one place. The machines are exhibited by some 350 exhibitors, most on large-sized demonstration areas, where they are also shown in operation.

The new 900 Vario model range was exhibited by AGCO/Fendt for the first time at the demopark. After receiving numerous awards in the agricultural sector among agricultural equipment manufacturers, as well as various design awards, AGCO/Fendt was now also awarded the Innovations Medal by an independent jury of specialists at the demopark. The 900 Vario has been specially adapted for municipal operations. The hydropneumatic independent wheel suspension on the front axle with the speed-dependent Fendt Stability Control System, a top speed of 60 km/h at a reduced engine speed, 17-tonne maximum permissible gross weight and the optional factory-installed, full-feature reversing driver station were worth a gold medal from the jury.
