Argentina - Gun fire at meat workers protest

There were gun shots fired in Buenos Aires on Thursday as meat workers were protesting outside the offices of a meat company that has laid off numerous employees in recent weeks.

Meat plants have been forced to lay off staff in the wake of the global recession and the drop in the demand for export beef.
