Argentina has 225,846 hectares planted with vines and boasts 1,322 first class wineries.
In 2008 production was 2,822,00 kg of grapes, which made q.46 billion litres of wine.
The domestic market consumed 966,167,29 hl and exports were 445,614,78 hl.
Meanwhile the export of grape must was 109,885,67 hl.
