ASDA ethical sourcing Head to address Anglesey farmers

Chris Brown, Head of ethical and sustainable sourcing for supermarket chain ASDA will be guest speaker at the NFU Cymru Anglesey Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 23 January.

Held at Tafarn y Rhos, Llangefni at 7.30pm, all NFU Cymru members in the county are invited to attend. Chris Brown will address the meeting on ASDA's ethical food sourcing policy for their 260 stores throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

Trevor Lloyd, NFU Cymru Chairman for Anglesey said, "The opening of the new ASDA store in Llangefni last year has prompted much interest amongst local farmers in the company's food sourcing policy.

"All NFU Cymru members in the county are welcome at the meeting and I would encourage them to come along to hear Mr Brown's views on how Welsh farmers fit into ASDA's ethical sourcing policy."
