CATTLE TRADE-
The new trade for live cattle to Indonesia, has been a godsend to the large cattle stations in Northern Australia, who have all cutback on cattle numbers due to drought.
Most of the stations sold forward store cattle in normal years, that came south to be finished.
These cattle are now going to Darwin and Townsville, strait on to the boats, bound for Indonesia.
There are some very large beef farmers in Northern Australia, including the worlds largest beef producer, Australian Agricultural Company, who run over half a million head of cattle.
