BCM Employee Gains Distinction
Michael Papps, recruited by Bays Curry McCowen (BCM) an architectural and rural asset management company, has excelled himself in the recent exams he has taken. In his second year of this National Certificate Building Construction course at Highbury College, Portsmouth, he gained double grade distinction in his construction exams. His tutor also informed him that he attained the highest mark of all students in this area.
Michael has a great track record in work experience prior to joining BCM, starting with qualifying as a tool-making engineer with six years experience, backed up with several years with Marvin & Partners drawing up land surveys and elevation drawings. He is also a qualified Autocad operator with two years operational knowledge, and now looks to be well on his way to his goal of becoming a professional architect.
James Fraser, Partner at BCM, said " We are delighted that Michael has done so well , particularly at a time when the architectural department of BCM is so busy. It is a tribute to his determination and hard work!"
Michael is also celebrating his engagement to his now fiancée Lisa Turner. He proposed to her whilst on holiday in Milan, shortly after receiving his results.
