NFU Cymru's Big Red Tractor Tour of Wales will be driving into a town near you soon and you will have an opportunity to guess the mileage the Massey Ferguson tractor will do during its tour whilst donating money to Ty Hafan, the children's hospice of Wales.
Everyone is being encouraged to guess the mileage the tractor will do during the course of its drive across the country and those who guess the mileage correctly will win prizes donated by Massey Ferguson and NFU Cymru.
The tractor will start its tour on Sunday, 11 September, at 11am on the farm of NFU Cymru President, Peredur Hughes, on Anglesey. It will then be driven down through Wales by a variety of local celebrities and NFU Cymru staff and members until it reaches its destination of Ty Hafan, in Sully, Vale of Glamorgan, on Sunday, 18 September.
Along the way it will be stopping at many locations including Betws y Coed, Corwen, Aberystwyth, Fishguard, Carmarthen, Swansea, Brecon and Abergavenny.
Sarah Jones, NFU Cymru Public Relations Officer said, "We're really looking forward to getting on the road and starting the tour. We hope people will come out and support us on the route and have a go at guessing the mileage."
Massey Ferguson, famous for its red tractors, has kindly agreed to sponsor the event by donating a tractor to do the tour as well as a prize and NFU Mutual has kindly agreed to insure the tractor during its tour.
