Bulgarian Milk Farmers Demand Higher State Subsidies

Milk farmers from Stara Zagora region in southeastern Bulgaria demanded higher state subsidies and more money for fodder expenses over winter months.

If the cabinet fails to meet their demands, the farmers have threatened to herd animals to Sofia and camp in front of the Agriculture Ministry.
