Cattle exports at record levels

The latest export figures reveal more cattle were shipped out of Australia in March than ever before.

There were 74,000 cattle sent overseas in the month, 1,000 head more than the last record set in 2000.

Chief Market Analyst Peter Weeks, with Meat and Livestock Australia, says it comes down to strong demand from Indonesia.
