Centre approves Rs 13.33 cr for agriculture in Himachal

The Union Agriculture ministry has approved Rs 13.33 crore during the current fiscal for crop improvement and agriculture mechanisation among others in Himachal Pradesh.

The fund has been approved under Macro Management of Agriculture for the current year, state Director of Agriculture J C Rana said in a statement on Monday.

Giving details of the fund allocation, Rana said Rs 3.86 crore has been approved for the crop improvement programme while Rs 1.78 crore has been earmarked for agriculture mechanisation.
