Chairman and vice-chairman re-elected to NFU Sugar Board

NFU Sugar Board chairman William Martin and vice chairman Nick Wells have both been re-elected to the board for a further three-year term.

They will be joined by John Goodchild who was elected to the board for the first time following voting throughout January and February.

Mr Martin said: "I’m delighted to have been re-elected to the board for a further three years and look forward to continuing the work that is already underway on behalf of beet growers. I would also like to congratulate Nick on his re-election and welcome John to the board."

The newly elected members will take their place on the sugar board at its next meeting later this month (March).
