Courses in field beans, combining and vining peas

The PGRO will hold courses on crop protection in combining & vining Peas on Tuesday 8 February and on crop protection in winter and spring field beans on Wednesday 9 February.

Each of the one day specialist courses will update agronomists, consultants, growers and crop managers involved in crop protection of peas for combining or vining, and winter or spring field beans.

Major pests, diseases, disorders and weed control strategies will be covered. The objectives are for participants to be able to correctly identify pests, diseases and disorders appreciate their regional and national significance, choose the correct methods of weed control for the particular circumstances, and incorporate control measures into IPM.

Both courses are recognised by BASIS as part of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
