Animal Health Minister Ben Bradshaw today welcomed the announcement of the Directors who will be on the Board of the Company being set up to run the national fallen stock scheme, which was announced in July (PN 308/03) The Industry Directors were chosen by the farming organisations that will form the membership of the Company.

Ian Duncan Millar
Farms a 300 acre mixed farm and a hill unit near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. Director of the Moredun Research Institute. Chairman of the Highland Glen Lamb marketing Group. Chairman of the Scottish Sheep Health Schemes. Chairman of the Beef and Sheep Farm Assurance in Scotland until 2002.
Walter Elliott, OBE
Farms 160 acres in the Less Favoured Area near Aughnacloy, Co.Tyrone. Member of UFU Executive. Chairman of UFU subsidiary Company - Countryside Services. Fellow of the Royal Agriculture Society. Director of Ulster Farmers' Investments Ltd. Director of Linden Foods.
Rod Williams
