Farmers market wraps up outdoor season, heads indoors
The weather may be turning colder, but that won't stop the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market from sharing its bounty.
Once again, the farmers market will be moving indoors for the winter season, with the opening day to be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in Building 41 at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds.
The winter market is expected to be even better than last year's inaugural effort, said Kari Dunn, market manager.
"It's still in the early stages, but we're hoping to have more demos," Dunn said. "Maybe do some special things around the holidays."
