Farmers seize opportunity to quiz EU Agriculture Commissioner

The Common Agricultural Policy Health Check will be top of the agenda when the EU Agriculture Commissioner visits the UK next week.

Mariann Fischer Boel will be touring farms in the South West on November 13 and will come face-to-face with farmers and growers during a NFU-led debate in Tiverton. It will be a rare opportunity for them to voice their opinions directly to the EU’s top decision makers, and will also include South West MEP Neil Parish, chairman of the European Parliament’s Agriculture Committee.
