Glamorgan Young Farmers benefit from donation

Glamorgan Young Farmers Club has received a financial boost thanks to a ’200 donation from NFU Cymru members in Glamorgan.

NFU Cymru President, Ed Bailey, presented the donation to Miranda McGinn, the YFC County Chairman, during the recent County Show.

Ed Bailey said, ’NFU Cymru is proud to offer its support to the young farmers of Glamorgan. We are naturally committed to safeguarding the future of the farming industry. So it’s vital we invest in the next generation.’

Accepting the cheque, Miranda McGinn said, ’We are very grateful to NFU Cymru for its continuous support. It is a pleasure to work with such a great organisation as the National Farmers Union. The money will go towards county training and developing the members’ skills.’
