Massey Ferguson is celebrating the remarkable award-winning success of the MF 7600 Series by unveiling a special ’Golden’ MF 7624 at the Techagro Show in Brno in the Czech Republic on 31st March 2012.
Since its launch the MF 7600 Series has been showered with accolades starting with the Golden Tractor for Design in the 2012 Tractor of the Year competition at the Agritechnica Show in 2011, where it was also named as Machine of the Year.
A Gold Medal at the Polagra-Premiery show in Poznan, Poland continues the MF 7600 Series’ success story; and, only yesterday, it received another Gold Medal at the ’Ka pasesi 2012’, which is one of the largest exhibitions for the Baltic states, held at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University in Lithuania. The tractor has also received a Silver Medal for Technical Innovation at the FIMA show in Spain.
’Everybody at Massey Ferguson is immensely proud of these achievements,’ says Campbell Scott, Brand Development Manager. ’We are honoured to receive these medals and awards and the ’Golden Tractor’ is our way of showing not only our appreciation to the judges, but also highlighting the MF 7600 Series as a truly award-winning machine.
’While it is fantastic to receive these medals, we at Massey Ferguson already know the MF 7600 Series is outstanding in its class. We currently offer our best ever range of equipment, which has great design and innovation at its heart. Massey Ferguson, for example, pioneered the use of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology on engines.
’These engines not only meet the strict new regulations, but also provide our customers with exceptional fuel economy. The MF 7600 Series employs the Generation 2, e’ SCR system, offering further refinements and economy at a time when some other manufacturers are only just starting to announce the future use of this technology, which has been available from us since 2008,’ adds Mr Scott.
Massey Ferguson fans and customers can share in the Golden celebrations with a special, limited edition scale model of the Golden MF 7624, which will be available later this year. With just 2012 being produced, this is likely to become a much sought-after collectors’ item.
At the Techagro Show on 31st March, Massey Ferguson is starting the next chapter in the MF 7600 Series success story with the introduction of four new models with powers from 140hp to 175hp. These also feature the Generation 2, e’ SCR engine technology, along with many other features from the medal-winning larger models.
