Gujarat asks Centre to release allocated fertilisers

The Gujarat government has asked the Centre to release the allocated quota of fertilisers for farmers in the state immediately, a state cabinet minister said on Friday.

The Centre has been giving step-motherly treatment to Gujarat on the allocation and release of fertiliser stocks to farmers who are facing a severe shortage, Gujarat Agriculture Minister Dilip Sanghani said.
