Valtra have announced the appointment of H Curtis and Sons of Pensford, just South of Bristol as their dealers for North Somerset. A family company with substantial interests across agriculture, including farming, contracting and grain trading,the farm machinery business grew out of contracting. "We started buying and selling used machinery and in 2002 were offered our first new machine franchise," explains Dealer Principal Andrew Curtis. "We've had other tractor franchises but Valtra seems a natural progression – we use them on our farm."
Andrew Curtis is supported by Dan Hurford, Nigel Howe and Mathew Curtis in Sales. Workshop foreman is Steve Jones with Mathew Ham, Wayne Court and apprentice David Groves. Sharon Wheeler and Sarah Curtis run the office.
