HSBC appoints new agricultural manager in Newbury
HSBC Agriculture, the dedicated farming division of HSBC Bank plc, has appointed Stephen Davison as agriculture banking manager responsible for the bank's agricultural customers in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, North Hampshire and West Buckinghamshire. Based in Newbury, he joins HSBC's team of over 50 specialist agriculture managers located throughout England and Wales.
Stephen has considerable experience in the agriculture and food industry. Prior to his appointment he spent two years as an HSBC agriculture banking manager in South and West Yorkshire working exclusively with farming clients. "I'm very much looking forward to meeting and working closely with farmers in my new area," said Stephen. "I believe my broad range of experience will help current and prospective customers develop their businesses during a time of considerable change for the agriculture industry."
Michael Summers, Senior Agriculture Banking Manager for HSBC, said: "This is a new position which significantly strengthens our representation in this important farming area. I'm delighted to welcome Stephen to the team and have no doubt that his knowledge, depth of experience and commitment to the industry will ensure he is able to provide an excellent service to farming businesses."
Stephen lives in Newbury and in his spare time enjoys mountain climbing, watching rugby and photography.
