Hydraulic lift control enhances mower performance

Kuhn has extended its range of mower conditioners for the 2007 season with the introduction of two new centrally articulated three-point mounted models.

The 2.4 metre FC 243 GII and 2.8 metre FC 283 GII (pictured) feature Kuhn's patented hydraulic Lift Control system – previously only available on larger models - that allows the cutter bar to be lifted out of work independently. Also new to the GII models is an integral adjustable wide swath facility.

The new FC 243 and 283 GII models also offer optimum ground following performance, made possible by an adjustable hydraulic suspension. The same hydropneumatic technology also facilitates a non-stop safety break-back system.

Kuhn's new FC 243 GII has a starting price of £8,913 and the FC 283 GII starts at £9,364.
