JAMACA-MEAT COMPANY EXPANDING.
Kingston, Jamaica-based Grace Foods announced it has expanded distribution of its Grace Caribbean Traditions frozen meals to include 400 chain and independent stores in the New York tri-state area and South Florida — about double what it was previously.
The Grace Caribbean Traditions line includes three entrees: Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas, Curried Chicken with White Rice and Jerk Shrimp with White Rice. They can be heated in five minutes in the microwave.
"We made sure to place the meals in both mainstream supermarket chains as well as in independent stores," said Ricardo Bryan, regional business manager – USA for Grace Foods. "This way we can connect with not only the traditional Grace customer, but also with people who have had some experience with Caribbean food."
