Katie heads south

KATIE Brian will be aiming to spread new ideas and techniques in the beef and sheep industry as she takes up her post as Regional Project Co-ordinator with the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX).

Katie, former Sheep Technician with Innovis, will cover the whole of Southern England while her opposite number Liz Ford covers the North.

Originally from Worcestershire, Katie was brought up on a livestock farm and her parents still keep sheep and cattle.

She said: "I am looking forward to building on my knowledge of agriculture and using my skills for the benefit of England's beef and lamb industry."
