Largest-ever export order

Cultivation equipment manufacturer Flexi-Farm of Seaton Ross, York has won its largest-ever export order.

The order — for 12 Cambridge rollers worth £79,380 — has been placed by Hubbard Machinery, the company's sole distributor in New Zealand. Previous to this, the largest single order to be placed by Hubbard was worth £16,000.

The latest batch of machines, varying in size from 6.3m to 8.3m, are due to be shipped out in mid-November.
