Leopard attacks farmer, killed

MANDI: A female leopard attacked a farmer at Sidhkothi village in Mandi district. But instead of surrendering easily, he fought with her and won in the end.

Dinesh was cutting grass in his field when the animal pounced on him.

Ajit Singh, a relative of Dinesh, said when the victim was struggling with the animal, he thrust his arm into her mouth and started crying loudly. He kept the arm inside the mouth which almost choked her to death.
