Local and accessible Lloyds TSB agricultural team
Lloyds TSB is increasing the size of its local network of agricultural managers with specialist expertise in the agricultural and rural sectors.
With 22 new Agricultural Business Manager due to join Lloyds TSB Agriculture over the next three months by the end of the year the agricultural team will have a network of over 125 staff spread across 34 offices throughout Britain.
"We view the next few years as exciting and full of potential for the farming industry and we want to make sure we have as good a team as possible in place, who are readily accessible to our growing number of customers," said Tim Porter, Agriculture Director, Lloyds TSB Business Banking.
"This can only reaffirm the commitment of the Lloyds TSB group to the regional farming community. Together with the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation, who has, this year, also increased its number of field staff, we are investing to further strengthen our links with the rural community.
"We pride ourselves on offering a personal service. All of our staff are from farming or business backgrounds and work only on behalf of farmers and rural businesses. All the agricultural team are individually supported by a local office-based administrative team ensuring customers have a knowledgeable, local contact.
"Over the next few months Lloyds TSB Agriculture and AMC are hosting a series of farmer events up and down the country focusing on how farmers can make the best use of their assets and boost their income though successful commodity farming, new business opportunities and environmental stewardship. This will provide an opportunity for the new team members to meet new and existing customers.
"This is all part of the service we offer our farming clients," said Tim Porter.
