Dales Quality Meat has secured a contract to supply 300 light lambs of 14kg or less to a leading Greek importer. The first load was dispatched last week. Liz Hird, sales director for the processor, said the company won the contract because it was willing to dress the carcasses to Greek specification. "It would seem that no other English company has been prepared to offer this service. We are the first," she added.
