Two elderly men are dead after separate farming accident yesterday, while authorities will continue the search today for a woman missing on a property near Anakie.
A 78-year-old man was killed after he was crushed by a slasher after stepping off a tractor to open a gate on a property at Kenilworth yesterday.
Initial investigations suggest the tractor may have rolled back onto the man. Police were notified of the incident about 6pm.
Meanwhile, a 73-year-old man died after a quad bike accident on a private property at Winton yesterday.
The man had been mustering cattle by himself when the bike collided with a fence pole. He was thrown from the bike and it rolled on top of him.
Police say he died at the scene. The man's family and neighbours located him and called police about 6.15pm.
