Michelin Announces Agriculture Tire Price Hikes, N America

French tire manufacturer Compagnie Generale Des Etablissements Michelin (12126.FR) said Wednesday that as a result of continuing increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs, Michelin North America is increasing its agriculture tire prices.

The company will increase prices between 6% and 36% on Michelin, BFGoodrich and Kleber brand Agricultural and Compact Line tires and tubes sold in the United States and Canada, effective July 1, 2008.
