Milk Link awarded Sainsbury's cheese contract

Milk Link's The Cheese Company has been awarded a contract to supply Sainsbury's with high quality cheddar. The contract, which will commence later in the Summer, builds upon the existing relationship between Sainsbury's and Milk Link and reflects both organisations' commitment to product quality, service excellence, provenance, traceability and supporting British dairy farming.

Central to the new relationship will be the creation in due course of a Sainsbury's Producer Group as well as a Milk for Cheese contract, which will be available to all Milk Link Members supplying our cheese creameries. This Group will work together to seek to optimise milk constituents for cheese production, deliver supply chain and purchasing efficiencies, and communicate closely with our cheese customers.
