Monmouthshire members get chance to air their views on livestock market
NFU Cymru members in Monmouthshire will have a chance to air their views on the issue of Abergavenny Livestock Market on Thursday, 3 September 2009.
Held at the Alice Springs Golf Club, Usk, the NFU Cymru county meeting will commence at 7.30pm.
Alan Williams, the County Chairman for NFU Cymru in Monmouthshire said, "The issue of Abergavenny Livestock Market is an important one to local farmers and it is vital we use this opportunity to ensure the best possible way forward for the county so I hope we will get a good turnout of local NFU Cymru members to discuss the matter. Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along."
NFU Cymru members will also receive a policy update on the latest developments and ongoing discussions regarding the new Glastir Scheme, the implementation of sheep EID and the Great Springs NVZ designation will also be provided.
