Following the acquisition of a majority holding by Sumitomo Chemicals just over one year ago, Interfarm UK Ltd. are announcing positive sales progress and business expansion as well the appointment of a new Sales Manager and new Business Manager to support this business expansion.
Andy Makings has been appointed to the newly formed position of Sales Manager, responsible for all aspects of sales to distributors throughout UK and Ireland. With a farming background, Andy has over twenty years experience working in the agrochemical industry. Prior to joining Interfarm (UK) Ltd, he worked in field development and field research and then held a number of senior commercial roles with a number of key crop protection manufacturers, including Rhone-Poulenc, Aventis and Bayer CropScience.

In addition to the new Sales Manager, Andy Jeffries has been appointed Business Manager for Interfarm (UK) Ltd. Andy will be responsible for sales with a number of key distributors and will be based in the eastern part of country. He has been the chemical buyer for the farmer co-operative Woldmarsh, Business Manager for Sipcam and a partner in a distribution business.
