New Holland has appointed a new Network Development Manager for the UK and Ireland.
Michael Staunton joins New Holland after 14 years with Hyundai Motor Company, seven of which were spent as National Network Development Manager.
Over his career Michael has also worked for Peugeot and Toyota and he said: “I am very much looking forward to working with New Holland’s dealers.
“New Holland’s dealer network is dedicated to delivering expert sales and after-sales service to customers around the country. I want to try to bring value to them from the experience I have had and make it an even more profitable and effective network.”
He added: “What attracted me to New Holland was that whilst it is based on similar principles to my old job, it is a different challenge and a different environment.”
New Holland Managing Director Andrew Watson said: “Michael is a strong addition to the team and reflects our resolve to be the very best in the UK, Ireland and around the world.
“He understands our unique philosophy, what we want to achieve, and what our clients expect. I welcome him on board and I’m sure our dealers will welcome him too.”
Michael steps into the position left by Moir Russell who has retired at the age of 65 after 42 years in the agricultural business, including 34 years with New Holland.
Moir said: "I am leaving a super team at New Holland and the New Holland dealers, along with the widest range of agricultural equipment in the world to allow the best possible opportunities for improved sales and profit."
