New meat complex for Foster Farms

Foster Farms, are spending $2.1 million on expanding their processed meat department, with the addition of 30 new jobs.

Construction will begin on the first week of February at the complex in Demopolis.

The complex had an $11 million face lift in 2007, with the new improvements production will increase 38%.

The company specializes in ready to eat processed and cooked frankfurters and sausages, as well as many other processed meats.
