New twin rotor rake from Khun operates to 9.3 metres
Kuhn Farm Machinery has introduced a trailed twin rotor rake with a working width range of 8.5 - 9.3 metres.
The GA 9321 Gyrorake becomes the largest central two-rotor rake in Kuhn's current range, and incorporates a self-contained hydraulic drive unit and pivoting headstock. Hydraulic rotor drive provides the advantages of reduced maintenance (only a single driveline to grease), high reliability and quiet operation.
Stability and ground-following performance is enhanced through a four-wheel pivoting undercarriage under each rotor as well as a 3D suspension system. There are also two large rear wheels that are guided from the headstock for improved cornering. The rear wheels are spaced to allow a 2.5m track width for a centrally formed swath that is adjustable from 1.5 metres to 2.3 metres by means of telescopic arms.
Each 4.0 metre rotor is fitted with 15 tine arms, with four tines per arm. Working width is hydraulically adjustable from the tractor, as is raking height. Swath clearance when turning is a minimum of 50 cm.

The GA 9321 folds hydraulically to a transport position of 3.0 metres. Prior to folding, guards are retracted and 10 tine arms disconnected to reduce transport height to 3.85 metres.
Basic price of the GA 9321 Gyrorake is £22,710.
