NFU election nominations are published

The NFU has today published the nominations for its officer holder elections being held in February.

President Peter Kendall and Deputy President Meurig Raymond are unopposed.

Four candidates have been nominated for the Vice-Presidency, currently held by Paul Temple, from Yorkshire. In addition to Mr. Temple, they are Thomas Binns from Lancashire, Alastair Mackintosh from Cumbria and Adam Quinney from Warwickshire.

Successful candidates will hold the position from 2008-2010 with voting taking place immediately after the NFU conference on Tuesday February 19 at the Hilton London Metropole.
