NFU to open new office building

NFU Cymru President Ed Bailey and Dai Davies, Chairman of the NFU Mutual’s Advisory Board for Wales will perform the official opening ceremony of the organisation’s new office in Tiverton Place, Lion Street, Abergavenny.

At a time when many businesses are closing their offices in towns and villages, the NFU remains committed to providing a personal, local service for its members and customers. Increasing business meant a new office was required in the Abergavenny area.

Local NFU Cymru Group Secretary Ashley Jones and his team have a wealth of business experience and attribute their success to the standard of service provided and building long-lasting relationships with members.

Mr Jones said, "People have always valued good service from local businesses and our philosophy has always been to provide an attentive and personal service for members, whether talking to them on the phone, face-to-face in the office or visiting them at their businesses or in their homes. It is this culture of customer care that enables us to really get to know our members and tailor our services to their needs in a way which simply would not be possible if our business was conducted entirely online or over the telephone."

Mr Jones believes the team’s detailed knowledge of the area and many local issues that could affect a customer’s individual or business insurance needs form an important part of the service they offer.
